Almost ready to whip this across the finish line 😁 . Yesterday cable locators came out and did their thing . Everything was roughly where I thought . Check . Next the HD/Canter Power Systems rep showed up at 2:00 . First words out of his mouth was " you ready to buy today " ? 😩 . I quickly said no to set the tone .

I received his quote 30 minutes ago . He's at $14,340 for a 22kw Generac . His price did include a 10 year parts/labor/travel warranty . He talked a good game but it just didn't sit well for some reason .

I also received a written quote from the first guy . Price is $10,500 for a 20kw Kohler . He installs everything except the propane . I have to pay 400-500 for the propane company to trench and install a larger diameter line . So all in 11k . I think that is reasonable for what is supposed to be an excellent quality generator .

So tomorrow I will make the call to get the wheels in motion . I appreciate all the advice you guys provided , it helped me navigate the path to a decision .
