If you want to drop weight simply stop eating. You are living beyond your means.
Reduce your caloric intake to less than you can burn in a day. Ditch the bread and stuff made with wheat and flours. These are problem foods: "loads of pasta, potato, bread, rice" Cut the processed foods and minimize sugar to small servings of fruit. Learn how to tap into your glycogen stores.
Throughtout the day if you are not making enough insulin to deal with the high carbs your body will deal with in ways you will not like.
