McGriddle - isn't the syrup sort of imgregnated in the bun?

I ignored this thread forever - it was always going this way. With very lax laws on car importation, New Zealand pretty much lead the way in importing used cars ex Japan (until the Aussies and UK started too). Skylines, in all their forms --> from R32 2 litre turbo four doors up to the R34 GTR pictured are literally a dime a dozen. You even see a few of the older models.

Three things struck me about this thread:

- looks = subjective
- women liking cars. I infrequently see Ferrari's here (despite apparently quite high per capita ownership) and when I do, they never seem to have any women in them. On the other hand, GTRs drivers never seem to lack a teenage girlfriend! Not wearing much.
- engineering. All three cars in question represented a certain peak of engineering at their time (the 930 in the late 70s, the 328 I guess, and the GTR certainly for the 90s).

I also thought jryerson lost a lot of credibility with this comment:

"and the Ferrari is more reliable than the Porsche"
