No knee replacement for me, just a hip. I put off the surgery until I could not take it anymore, and I never used anything but over the counter pain meds.
On the 14th of August it will have been 11 years, and they only time I even think about it is as I step out of the shower, and I see the large scar on my hip area. Pretty much the dumbest decision I ever made in my left was to delay the surgery. I should had had it done years earlier. Every single step was painful before. Now I am fixed.
