Just had this issue on my 2021 Tacoma. Started up, immediately had engine lights, ran code reader, knock sensor failure....
Had it towed in, rodents chewed wiring under intake...$30 part, $800 labor plus tow.
Insurance picked up all but $400 deducible. Never had this issue on 25 different vehicles, insurance agent says they see it frequently.
