I had the screen type on one of my rentals once.... never again, they totally suck and clog... I have (on gutters I still have up) the kind with slits ... much better but still suck bigly.
At least I don't have to deal with pine needles.... big oak and maple leaves don't clog.... but those maple "whirly birds" sure do
