The brother of one of my wife’s coworkers was recently drugged, kidnapped, and beaten at an English language club cafe. He is lucky to be alive after being left in an alley. He is back in the states but is having multiple severe issues, with hearing, vision, and memory. Its a horrible situation.
Be very careful if you go. Traveling alone does not seem to be a good idea.
