Allegedly the ones Ibanez custom made for Weir, had larger headstocks... the belief was the the extra mass on both ends of the neck helped sustain.... I think in a Spinal Tap sort of way... like 11, or heavy air
I just couldn't justify paying thousands more for an instrument because of the name attached....
The one I got is a piece of art.. though its tough to play for to long... it weighs close to 11#

I get you! Very cool guitar. Beautiful. Different in being a single cut with a slightly different shape to it, but so what...
The headstock details and fret board inlays are amazing.
Out of curiosity, any idea what the head stock angle is? It doesn't matter, I am just a curious guy....
