Living in a rural area, I don't hear many loud cars.
The huge 'worked over' pick-ups are a whole diff story. Can hear them from a mile away and the tire noise is part of it after the 8 inch straight out exhaust pipes.
My other noise complaint is from the constant circling of small planes on nice summer days. I live close to a lake with lots of sun-bathers on sunny days.
They are louder than any cars that drive past.
If it's a cloudy day...no airplanes. (nothing for them to see)
