Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

What I find hellacious is his statement about the construction of the pipe. Especially the “impeccable Welds”. Color on welds is not good. Laying down a weld that looks like a stack of dimes is good cool. Color bad, dimes good. Color is caused by contaminating gases from the air to oxidize the weld. But on the inside, if you don’t back purge with an inert gas the weld will sugar. Sugar bad, stack of dime good. So both sides of the welds didn’t have enough purge. The color and the sugar show poor workmanship and substandard welds which are much more prone to failure. The other thing is the undercut weld bead, the “Bird Turd” weld beads. Another sign of poor workmanship.

I used to enjoy Bisimoto’s shows, and loved the accent.

Wow!!! Did they sell you one of the “blems”???? I know that was an option when I purchased mine. I haven’t looked at it for some time but I do remember that the finish wasn’t on par with what I was expecting. Clamp marks and scratches. Now I am afraid to look at the inside….[emoji51]

Especially for what I paid for the dang thing and the waaaaiiiiiitttttttttttt
