Tooth implant update:
They got the broken piece out. The implant is solid in her jaw, not loose. However, the doc was concerned about bone loss around the implant, so he added some bone graft material to the area and stitched up her gum. That's got to sit for 4 months, and then he's going to check it again. If the graft works and the jawbone is built up to his satisfaction, he'll put the stud or post back in. If not, he will have to remove the implant, put in more bone graft material, wait for it to all heal again, and then start over.
Someone asked if this repair was free. No, not a chance.
I would have tried JB Weld.
