the extension ladder is tied off to the house and shop walls, the ropes don't show in the photos. the 6' A framed was ratchet strapped to the deck rail.
not the carpenter I once was... but you gotta do what you gotta do..
look, my 35 y/o tool belt even failed before i mounted the plank.....
