It remains to be seen what the outcome of this is. Frankly I am not too worried about my local area but things do change.

What I see now is that the mainstream news is having quite a go at this sensationalizing. Come mid week we will know the story.

Flash floods are nothing new to the desert. Epic flash floods will be different. We could lose some infrastructure. Getting supplies to the affected areas might be a problem.
