No, where the bumper shocks are located. There's a lipped U channel mounted sideways along the front of the tub. Great collector of gravel and dirt. Search for a pic of a 911 without fenders.
I took 3lbs out of the front of mine. PO lived on a gravel road. Fortunately, no rust.
