We have had drizzle most of the day with now a steady light rain. Zero wind, but as Paul said we get annual winds from the East that can reach 80 mph so even if this pencils out with more wind in the afternoon and evening I am not concerned.

My friends in Vista are hosting a 'Hurricane' party with neighbors, outside. All smiles and great food.

I expect we will see some heavy rain in the coming hours into the evening but we already went through that early this year with above average rain and snow and came out just fine. Guessing East low lying communities (Palm Springs) may have flash floods given the topography in the area and and latest storm tracking.

If it gets ugly before tomorrow I will be the first to post here saying I was wrong. But thus far it's not even been anything to notice.

Local news is saying SD could get tornados and everyone be very afraid. Humm...yeah right.
