I got up this morning and it's wet but calm. I opened the online
LA Times and there are 3 articles, one about the quake (no real damage) and 2 about the rain. They have their tail between their legs and back to the usual drivel.
The other headline was, "Pattern of Abuse is Alleged at Mushroom Farms."
There is a lot of water running around in the desert but apparently Palm Springs is still there. There was a run on stores Saturday and Sunday filling Costco's parking lots to capacity.
So now everyone has plenty of batteries.
Edit: I should add that radar shows no rain in sight at least until noon.
