The Arcane Texas Fact of the Day:
In 1940, the fastest speed limit anywhere in Texas was 45 mph. In that era, most cars would not go much faster than that.
At one of my former jobs we had a skinny chick that wore thin summer clothes and was pleasant to look at, but always cold. She would tun the AC up and all the men in the area were cussing her. One day, I suggested to do more than sit there waited for customers to walk in, get up and run the vacuum cleaner on the foyer carpeting. She tried that, and was all warmed up, and we had a better looking foyer! Win Win.
