Looks like we have an optomist here - not only an optomist, but a concerned environmentalist.

I'd recommend getting a flat pan (like a metal cake pan or bread pan), pour between an eight to a quarter inch in the pan, and light it. Don't burn it in a glass bottle, as the bottle will probably break. You can also pour about 2 to 4 ounces into a paper cup - the cup will burn down with the gas and then you won't have any clean up.
