Can you expand on this. 930 fronts ? What do you mean here

Brakes, A or S ? What do you mean, are there Porsche model brakes
911 front suspension is by McPherson strut. The most common are Boge or Bilstein, Bilstein being the more sporting choice. The struts will have either 3" or 3.5" brake mounts. 3" is for M front calipers which is what your car came w/ when new. 3.5" is for S(alloy, used on early thru '75 S and Carrera versions) or A(iron, used from "76 to '83SC? Carrera) calipers or 930 alloy calipers. You don't need the 930s and probably not even the A/S calipers either but while in there why not. Your stock rear brakes are M rears, these have smaller pistons than the M fronts. A nice, recommended upgrade for the front would be 930 strut which come w/ 3.5" brake mounts for A or S calipers and Bilstein gas inserts, these can be revalved, The Boge struts are less sporting, cannot be revalved and also come w/ either 3 or 3.5" brake mounts.

In back you can use Boge or Koni or Bilstein(ether hd or sport versions), but you want to match f/r.
