I do the shopping in my household. I have no problem with scanning the price at the register but, on a regular basis (like once a month) the price at the register is not the price on the shelf or the sale price in the circular.
That adds up you are buying 3 packages of ribeye steaks and the price error was about 5 bucks per package (happened last month). Just yesterday I bought two bottles of laundry (different store)- 10.99 on the shelf and 12.99 at the register. The stores apologized for the "innocent error" but in my mind this is fraud. It happens too many times and it is
always the price being higher at the register. What a coincidence! The stores never "accidentally" charge too little.
I don't have time to check every price with my phone so if there is no price on the shelf it stays on the shelf.
