Hard for me to process .... one faculty member dead. This campus has been part of my "stomping grounds" for 50 years, though I didn't attend school there. My first football game was UNC verses VMI as a 10 year old.... road trips there when my school played them, MJ & Worthy's championship celebration on Franklin St. with 30K others, and then living & working nearby after college. More music shows at the Cat's Cradle (both on Franklin St. and down the road in Carrboro) to count.
Shattered ... Nearby Duke & NC State will be too ....
I feel so bad for the kids ....
They will NEVER think of Chapel Hill like the rest of have our whole lives.
