I first thought the estimated price on this Ferrari (or what's left of it) being auctioned by RM/Southeby's during Monterey Car Week was an attempt at humor.
One of only 13 built, the final sale price was anything
but humorous...it went for a cool $1.875M
There were other un-restored vintage Ferraris from the same seller being auctioned by RM too. Several were damaged when a storage building collapsed on them during a storm and were being sold 'as-is'.
