Original caption. Just about the greatest luxury that a soldier in the field can have is running water in his quarters. S/Sgt. Robert L. Woodside of Long Beach, California, accomplished this by fitting a spigot on a discarded fuel drum and mounting it on a platform outside his tent in the Solomon Islands, Here, he fills his helmet from his improvised water system.
