I sandblasted and painted my old Blackhawk jackstands this week. I'm not sure how old they are. I've had them for 50 years and they were old when I got them. They had several layers of paint and bondo on them and I figured it was about time to stop neglecting them. I sandblasted them down and checked for cracks - no problems anywhere. A couple of coats of Kubota Orange and they look like new (although I think they were originally red).
