If the case is cracked, sayonara. But have a pro look at it to be sure. Keep your 3.2 heads--they have larger ports. Ask if your engine supplier will give you a swap for a 3.0 to 3.2 crank and rods. If not, you can sell the 3.0 crank and rods and buy a 3.2 crank and rods for not much more.
Then mix and match to build a 3.2 74.4 stroke engine, or even a 3.4 engine. The 3.0 case its dimensionally the same as the 3.2 case, so you can drop in the 74.4 crank and rods, but it has an oil strainer plate on the bottom, which I prefer.
Contact William Knight or one of the other Pros here and ask advice about building up a custom engine.
