One of my more unusual jobs in AOG was to design tooling to first disassemble and then reassemble one of these aircraft (N905NA) for transport and display at Space Center Houston. Wings were removed so that it could be trailered down a public roadway. Here is where it sits today, with a mockup of the space shuttle
