That is low...looks very cool. Much lower than mine.
The measuring thing has got me a bit stumped as most of the measurements quoted are ground to fender, in which both fender height and wheel/tyre combination are an issue and alter the measurement.
The car has had RSR steel arches welded on. I am not entirely confident in the arch height measurements as a result so have used the factory method. Tyres are 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 which doesn't help either.
I'm on a Euro '86 Turbo shell which according to the workshop manual specification should measure 94mm front (centre wheel - centre torsion bar) and 12mm rear (centre torsion bar - centre wheel).
I have settled at 134mm front and -28mm rear, both exactly 40mm below spec. This gives (according to an inclinometer placed on the door sill) 1 degree of forward rake and the eye confirms it looks a bit nose down/arse up.
Front tyre is just tucked under the arch by a couple of mm, rear has a gap of a few mm.
120mm ground clearance and tie rods are only 2 deg over level so no bump steer issues.
Translate that to the wheel arch heights and I am at 25" rear, 24 3/4" front.
Having trouble with photo upload but will do so when I work it out...
