I fully understand! I have only owned German cars, and my El Camino. Parts are astonishingly cheap for old Chebbys. I have only paid for one alternator, water pump, or starter in 31 years and 340,000+ miles. Love me some lifetime warranties. Heck I bought a brand new, not rebuilt, not re-manufactured but 100% new 350 engine for the El Camino and delivered to my garage, it was $1,700.0. I pulled the old engine out and put the new one in over the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Rear wheel drive, and a V8 are lots of fun and plentiful.
