Didn't seem to before but just tonight I took it for a test drive and while backing into my drive I turned the wheel slightly and the noise seemed to increase a tad. That's when I started wondering about the pump. Thanks!

Probably not the cause, but rule out wrong fluid, since 'warmer' fluid seems to fix it. |
Yes & thanks, Leaky - good to check out. I did some snooping and read through some Silverado forum threads as well as watched some YT vids and I may try to do a fluid change first to see if it changes anything. There are some additives and also different fluids to consider.
Thought this was a well done video.....
