I just got stifffed for $800 from people I have known my whole life . They know I just lost my wife, and am raising two boys on my own . I had not done work for them in 15 years . I was pretty close to outing them to let everybody know what a ****ty thing they tried to pull .
I actually told hubby that I was not in a good place, and it would be wise to just write me a fking check .

I'm hoping, after reading your whole post, that they tried to stiff you, and then you went back and got it handled so that you didn't get stiffed in the end. And the good news is that you know better than to ever deal with them again.
