I think covering cars with tarps wrecks the older clearcoat. I Just bought a cheap cloth cover from wallmart for 35 bucks. mine is in a tent so that will help keep the dirt off. i've been working at cut polishing but dont have a machine so I'm just doing it a little at a time by hand.. not perfect but it's working. I noted that with mine , even after I cut polish if I run my hand over the top facing surfaces It feels a bit rough. maybe pitch from a tree? I bought a claybar but not he special soap and rag that comes with the kit, cheaper that way.. thought maybe i can just use a mild soap.
