The car show was fun and interesting. It was a bit hot towards the end, but low humidity and a breeze make it very tolerable.
I won second place to a guy that brought a 1972 914 1.7 that was virtually all original. The original paint and interior. No rust and it was a real barn find. The owner parked it in a barn, and it had several decades of barn dust covering it. It took a lot of work to bring the shine back to the paint. No rust at all.
Lots of people had never seen a 914 and did not know Porsche ever made a mid engine car in the 1970s.
