No, Milt, you’re mistaken. The Man Burned Monday night because the people could not easily/safely GET to the Man on Saturday night.
The Temple burned on Tuesday night.
I attended The Burn in 2019 with a guy that has been deeply involved with it for nearly 20 years. I spoke to him on Wednesday and he said “As usual, it was fantastic. Sure, we got some rain, but nothing to complain about. Why? What did you hear?”
I told him, he laughed.
I’ll take his comments over someone’s online post/explanation/breakdown that’s meant for clicks.
And sure, my visit was a bit transformational, go back and read about my visit in the thread I started. It’s fairly thorough.
I’ve never once been to Sturgis…which means I’d never opine about that event.
I’m with CP on this. If anyone really wants to see what’s what, go and check it out.
If’n it ain’t for you, that’s cool. Just don’t siht on the whole thing. It’s not what the click-baiters say it is.

well said.
as media from this burn has come out ... yeah, it sounds like it was a great event.
remember, even when burning man happens without a hitch, the desert is still trying to kill you, in very unique ways. so personal discomfort is kinda part of the whole experience even at the best of times.
