Puff of blue smoke when accelerating hard
Hello,
Noticed that when I accelerate the car up to the redline there is a cloud of blue smoke. I assume this isn't normal. Could this be AOS seals? I tried looking the O-ring size over the internet but couldn't find.
I also finally got around and adjusted the idle according to the spec, around 900rpm and now when I start coasting to a traffic light there is a slight shudder before the engine resumes smooth idle at 900rpm. The car is -87. I read that the earlier DME had a issue and this was normal for the early cars. Idle is smooth and the car runs well, but maybe a bit rich as the white rear of my car gets covered in soot over time.
