Kudos to Ferrari for finally getting the big strategy right, huge kudos to Carlos for a Prost/Schumacher/Alonzo-esque finale. But yes, WEC 24 hours races are 24 hour sprints from the off, and F1, with this tire regime has been 2 hour endurance races. Not the best look for the supposed pinnacle of motorsport.

Solution? Make the tires hard compound and difficult to keep up to temp if you're not pushing.
