Those are $500 hamburgers now. Or $500 burritos. Ponca City, OK has a really good Mexican place that the pilots can just park, and walk inside to eat.
Enid, OK is widely known amongst pilots as a place for great pie. Get there early or they will be sold out.
We bought our 2004 Cessna 182T in Wichita from a flight school. During the first look at the airplane, he flew us over the Stearman field for a burger and he bought lunch. I still think of that as my quarter million dollar burger.
