VERY glad I discovered the tab breakage problem and modified the clasp area on mine to help insure the tabs remain intact.
My compressor stopped working long ago, but it is easy enough to open up and the operation was restored w/ some lube and w/ working the parts back and forth.
The gauge glass popped out and was replaced w/ some super glue.
Now all is good, only costing me some time...
