The guy on the lift next to me had just finished his first 911 engine rebuild. He climbed into the car to start it and the second it lit off I through the metal lid of a hand cleaner can into the metal parts sink between us and near the rear of his car. I nonchalantly stood at the back of my car watching as he quickly turned his off and ran to the back of it looking panic stricken…then he saw me laughing. I can be a real jerk…still feel bad about doing that and it was probably 30+ years ago. (He’s still my buddy today)!
