There was a thing that you could buy from "thinkgeek" that seems to be NLA. The Annoyatron. I think there were 2 or 3 iterations. In the first, I think it made a noise periodically. In a subsequent version, I think it had something like 20 different sounds that it made, and you could set it to randomly cycle through those sounds, and also play them at random intervals which made it harder to find. I worked at a place with a really annoying "network security" guy. Someone hid one in his cube once. I think it took him hours to eventually find it.
