Yep! Still tracking... but it's been lonely out there without other air cooled's the past few years. With continuous rising valuations and cheaper, more powerful options available (Caymans, Camaro ZL1's, Vette's) available for track work, I get why there's been such a decline in the classics.
When people ask me why I don't abandon tracking my classic for a more modern track weapon, my response is the same: "Anyone can go fast in a modern car (stability controls, electronic nanny's, etc,.) but not everyone can drive fast in a slow car. Which one do you think is more fun to drive? "
