I have three awesome children. Oldest is 23. My dream has been for all of them to attend a college and have the sort of experience that my wife and I had.

Life is funny.

First kid is on the autism spectrum. No college. But, they are doing great and enjoy their life.

Second kid is doing great at college but he just doesn’t let us into his life. So we don’t reap much emotional benefit from this.

Third kid just went to school 1/2 way across the continent. She struggled greatly with anxiety and really took some risks with her choice. It is a pretty high performance school and she knew zero people there. Well, she is absolutely thriving. I have had some calls with her and she sounds happier than ever.

I realize that only now, have I been able to experience MY dream of my children attending college.

And it feels awesome.
