I am one of those guys that wants every system to work as designed, or way better in the case of AC.
The other day I noticed my right side fog light was out. I have had a spare bulb in a drawer for many years, and I put it in today. As usual, taking it apart is easy. Replacing the bulb is easy. The tricky part is getting it all together, and aligned to allow the screws to go in and seat the gasket. I finally looked a bit more carefully, and saw there is a notch in the bottom of the glass reflector that a tab goes into from the frame. So tilt, alight the tab, raise it up, and put the screws back in.
Pretty easy project with a lift, but a pain if you are laid out on your back trying to see it all. I love my scissor lift!
I have actually driven in fog, and light misty rain. It is not much more illumination, but it makes a nice difference in oncoming traffic to see me.
