My experience wasn't so happy...but I had to complicate things by adding macular degeneration and glaucoma into the mix. Surgeon said I had "fragile corneas"...recovery took weeks and was pretty painful with "drops-drops-drops". Final result, still wear glasses, can still drive, but could no longer "see the spot" on an object ball...so gave up pool playing...it was just too damned painful to be a guy who could run an occasional rack to become a guy who was lucky to make 3 balls in a row.
Colors did become more vibrant, and the world definitely got brighter.
I'm happy for the guys who are enjoying the new vision with operations that went well.
