Congrats. I have the same skidplate on mine. I really enjoy the bike. 6 of us did the Oregon BDR back in July/August. Bikes worked great. Check your valve clearance way sooner then recommended. EVERY ONE of my friends that have the 790/890s were out of spec. One 890 in as little as 4000 miles. Pretty well known issue, but just a heads up. ALSO the stock airbox sucks, but I'm not sure if they improved it on the latest 890.
