Although The R rennsport and seeing all the vintage cars race again was also a sight to behold. I watched many of these race back in the day and seeing and hearing them again was just outstanding.
Watching Canepa and Long go at it in the 917's was worth the fee alone. 4 days wasn't enough and the rain on Saturday was a shame.
The tractor race was fun but it was the Lemans style start that was crazy exciting. I was amazed at how many spectators came up to me in the tractor paddock and said the exact same thing that there favorite part of the racing was the tractor race.
And I agree that Canepa and Long racing the 917’s was a sight to behold but I just did not get the reaction to the weather on Saturday, I am from Florida where it RAINS, I would call what came down on Saturday a drizzle and it was not a big deal to me but I later found out that that is the first time it has “rained” at a Weathertech event in 20+ years.
