I noticed purple and violet and blue were more vivid. I had the procedure done to correct severe myopia, and I have no regrets. Some days I'm seeing at a 20-15 level, which is extraordinary. Though i do miss the super power of myopia once in a while.
Funny story -- I was excited to have the procedure done so I could swim without any difficulty, and I was particularly looking forward to "seeing" under water. I was disappointed when I found out that seeing under water wasn't as clear as I expected -- I always thought people with "good eyes" saw the same way I did when I wore goggles.
I did end up with a partial retinal tear about six months after the surgery . . . I had all the risk factors, and it was unlikely due to the procedure. Don't ignore anything worrisome like flashes, a shadow, or increased floaters. That procedure was far worse than the lens exchange, and far required a much lengthier recovery.
