I remember the Mavic GL330 and GEL280 rims with continental sprinter 250’s.
Laced up with super record hubs and 32 double butted spokes.
Usually running a straight block 6 speed.
Heaven!!!

Not sure how many times I went around the state capitol in Madison wi.
0.6 mile criterium course. Did that a few times every year. And then there was Superweek. (Before the tour of America’s Dairyland).
Life was easier then. And in much better shape.
