Garage
the way he explained it was, the rack being off just a little put more pressure on the teeth on one side making the wheels want to turn to the right…toward the path of least resistance….and making the steering wheel need more effort to turn left. in a garage full of porsche race cars being worked on by him, i took his word for it and just thanked him for getting it right.

please note i also may be misinterpreting his explanation slightly due to my own limitations in understanding alignment and steering components but the above is essential what my ears heard him say

he admitted that my pointing out the rub mark and harder effort required to turn left made a light bulb go off…so whatever that means to you take it for what ever it is

the entire 3 month ordeal was stressful and irritating so i’m putting it behind me and moving on.

and no, there was no additional charge for taking the front bits off and starting over which he did just to double check torsion bars etc…i also got a free bump steer kit out of it so it’s all good
