it definitely was not the usual culprits …tires or brakes and none of the parts were defective
I'm happy for you that its solved, but the explanation you got is still sounds bull**** too me.

Its a rack and pinion steering, going straight it's not affecting anything. You would just have the gears a little offset, which it how many cars comes from factory.

You would be able to steer it a little further one way than the other.

But its fixed, that's good!
