Here's another before and after... VFR Airspace maps from 1960 to 2020. Note the complexity changes at the same time the number of airports lost. In the 1960s map the blue circles are airports, the ones with anchors are sea plane airports. You can plainly see Newark Airport and JFK (which was Idlewild in 1960).
